Efficient Solar Screens
             BUG & SOLAR SCREEN

Bug Screens or insect screens cover usually half of the window (unless double hung) and are designed to deter most of of insects making possible to open the window to have fresh air whenever desired. We can custom made your bug screens to any size with metal frame, hardware and cloth matching your original ones.

Solar screens cover the whole window an are designed to reduce heat and glare. They will also deter insects. they will make rooms darker but will help to reduce heat transfer considerably. There are several options for color of cloth and we will match color of existing window frame and make them fit perfectly and securely. There are options of 80%, 90% or 95% light block.Bug or Solar Screens are fully and easily removable for cleaning of for the Winter.

WINDOW MEASUREMENT

Fitting a new piece of glass into an existing window frame depends largely on cutting the glass to exactly the right size: too large and it won't fit, too small and it won't fill the hole. WHAT CAUSES WINDOW TO FOG?

Have you wondered why no matter how much you clean your windows inside and out you still have that white spot and/or water condensation? Then you realize it's not on the outside but inside the two pieces. Well, despite being reliable according to the Sealed Insulating Glass Manufacturers Association, even quality insulated glass units will fail sometime (the Association says 1% after 10 years).  What typically happens is that after so many years expanding in the summer and contracting in the winter, the seal will eventually separate from the glass and air will be sucked into the void between the two pieces of glass. Some glass will show condensation, some won't. Some will show white spots, specially around the grids because moisture contains minerals such as silica and calcium. ​
